THE HARLEM 5 is a "real" traditional jazz band playing a wide range of Traditional Jazz, Swing & Blues from the 30s & 40s including Louis Armstrong, Fats Waller, Duke Ellington & W C Handy to name but a few.
It is an extremely versatile five piece band that is lead by Jeremy on saxes and vocals and includes Ron Milford (trombone & vocals), Ian Emby (guitar), Colin Fulcher (bass) & Brian Clarke (drums).

Although THE HARLEM 5 is Jeremy's newest venture, it is already booked throughout the year at jazz venues, weddings and private functions throughout the South West. The exciting, lively sound and the versatility of the band is appealing to audiences making it one of the most popular bands in the area.
As well as touring throughout the UK, THE HARLEM 5 also arrange trips to Spain, taking with them supporters from all over the country.
THE HARLEM 5 is an ideal band for Jazz venues, Jazz clubs, Jazz festivals, weddings, birthdays, parties & corporate events - in fact any venue or occasion that needs a lively and exciting band to entertain your guests.
With the emphasis on entertainment, and playing at a volume sympathetic to the occasion, Jeremy and the band pride themselves on a professional approach to their music, presentation and appearance.
Although based in Devon, THE HARLEM 5 is prepared to travel anywhere in the UK and abroad.
